COMLAND SUPPORTED EVENTS
- Quebec Canada: Papers Session at the IGU Regional Conference (August 2018). This will be a joint hosted session with the IGU Commission on Hazard and Risk.
- Iceland: COMLAND Meeting and field trip (mid 2019). This meeting and field trip will be a dedicated COMLAND event. It is proposed to hold a Papers Conference/ Workshop and a multi day field trip in association with local Institutions. Provisional conference theme: "Tourism and land degradation". Further details posted here when available.
- Slovenia: Thematic IGU Conference with special COMLAND Session. 24-26 September 2019, University of Primoska in the town of Koper at the Solvenian (Adriatic) coast. Theme: Transformation of Traditional Cultural Landscapes". FIRST CIRCULAR (EN) contains information on venue, important dates, excursions, scientific and organising committee. (FIRST CIRCULAR - FR)
- South Africa: Proposed COMLAND meeting and field trip. A COMLAND Workshop and multi day field trip is proposed to be held in the Eastern Cape region of South Africa. Further details when available.

- Israel: Proposed Conference on Fire Effect on Soils (Jan/Feb 2019)
- Moscow: IGU Conference (June 2018). The Papers Session on Land Degradation and Desertification will be Chaired by members of the local committee. COMLAND Members are invited to participate.
