COMLAND Awards
Distinguished Research on Land Degradation.
COMLAND's premier award is presented during main and regional IGU Congresses. It is open to individuals or institutions. COMLAND Steering Committee members are no longer eligible for this award. Since 2004 the award may be presented every two years. Nominations must include a 500 word text outlining a compelling rationale for why the nominee should be considered. The final selection will be made by the Chair, Secretary, and at least one other member of the Steering Committee. Nominations should be forwarded to the COMLAND Secretary. There is no deadline for nominations.
